Riyadh!
And why's that?
To visit my dad who's posted there.
So... What are you expecting from this trip?
I am going with many preconceived notions. I hope I am surprised!
Looking forward to..?
Seeing how it feels to wear a burqa (its compulsory), bookshops (what do they write and read about?), their gigantic malls! (I wanted to add "those pretty ladies", but I dont think their faces will be very visible)
NOT looking forward to..?
The May desert heat, no driving (women arent allowed to drive, not even a little bit)
When will you be back?
Dont know! But I guess somewhere in the first week of June, because we have a wedding to attend. I hope I get time to use the net and read/publish your comments!
See you!
Oh yes, I do hope you find time to use the net :-) Take care.
